Creativity Isn’t a Job, It’s a Passion

Diane M. Darcy, has been writing about pop culture ever since she was old enough to build her own fan sites. In 2011, Diane started blogging about her favourite DC Comics character, Helena Wayne (aka The Huntress), and got noticed by other fellow comic book fans.

Throughout the 2010s, Diane has contributed to other comics-focused websites, such as Women Write About Comics, Comics Bookcase, and ShelfDust. In that same decade, Diane started working on The Huntress Podcast for the Wright on Network.

By 2021, Diane started working professionally as an entertainment journalist on CBR, first as a news and features writer, then as an editor until 2025. Diane is also a writer at AIPT Comics and Fangirlish.

Though Diane has primarily worked in entertainment journalism, she has also written about women’s health and mental health.
